The DLMS User Association is a non-profit organization that develops, maintains, supports, and promotes the DLMS/COSEM specification for data exchange between smart devices deployed into electricity, gas, heat and water and related fields infrastructures and Distribution Service Operators.
Our members use our specifications in the IoT, Smart Metering, e-Mobility and Smart Grid segments to provide interoperable, resilient, and secure data operations.
We provide data exchange definitions for supporting many communication technologies including NB-IoT, 4G, LoWPAN, WiSUN, LoRaWAN, Zigbee LPR, and Power Line Carrier (Prime and G3).
Founded 1997 by leading utilities and meter manufacturers, the DLMS UA has now grown into a global organization with 300+ members from all continents and 70+ countries covering utilities, Distribution Service Operators (DSOs), device manufacturers, system developers and integrators, Software platforms for DSOs, semiconductors manufacturers and e-vehicle charging infrastructure manufacturers.
